Business English Vocabulary

The Professional Development Agency provides three courses (refer to table above) which might cater for some of our staff-training requirements for the coming year. The course which appears to be 1__________ (useful) is the Basic Computer Skills one, as almost all our current staff are already computer literate.

For those such as senior managers who don't have a lot of time for intensive courses the Advanced Computer Skills course might be 2__________ (appropriate). However, it is has possibly the 3__________ (inconvenient) timetable, classes being on Mondays and Wednesdays in the mornings, just when most managers would probably be 4__________ (busy). What's more, that particular course is 5__________ (expensive), which would mean that on our current training budget the 6__________ (few) staff would actually receive training.

One of the courses which 7__________ (many) of the junior level staff might benefit from would be Introdcution to Accounting. Those classes are organized outside normal office hours (8-10pm, Mon-Thur), and that means we won't be missing staff during the day so there will be 8__________ (little) impact felt on the normal running of our offices. However, it may turn out to be 9__________ (costly) than it looks at first because we will be expected to pay overtime for any staff attending the course. The other point is, the 10__________ (large) number of attendees in these classes which reflects that it is 11__________ (theoretical) compared to the computer-skills options, which seem to provide a 12__________ (hands-on) approach.
